A small design practice in Bologna
Buying Designer is the name under which Matteo Parmeggiani, a private individual, offers design work. It’s based in Bologna.
That’s the whole résumé we’re going to give you. We’d rather you judge us on the packages, the terms and the sample work than on a list of claims you can’t check.
Matteo started it because buying design is oddly hard. You ask for a price and get a call. You ask what’s included and get “it depends”. You find out what a revision means after you’ve paid. So we wrote it all down and put the prices next to it.

Why the prices are on the page
Because “how much” is the first thing anyone asks, and you shouldn’t need a call to hear the answer.
Fixed packages mean you know the cost, the files and the number of changes before you pay anything. They also mean we’ve limited what we offer: seven packages, a short add-on list, and a quote form for the rest. If your job doesn’t fit, we say so and quote it separately.
Six rules we work by
Short, because we want to keep to them.
The price is the price.
What’s listed is what you pay for what’s listed. What’s not included is written next to it.
A round is a list.
One consolidated list of changes on the concept you chose. A new direction is a new concept, and it’s priced.
You own what you paid for.
Final files and the rights to them are yours once the package is paid in full. Concepts we didn’t use stay with us.
We tell you when it’s the wrong package.
If Logo is enough, we’ll say Logo is enough.
No promises nobody can keep.
We can’t promise a trademark will register, a page will rank, or a brand will sell. We can promise to check for obvious conflicts and to hand over files that are labelled and tidy.
Samples are labelled.
Our samples are invented brands and say so on the page. We don’t have testimonials yet, so there are none.
